LAURA WHEATLEY
I am a Registered Osteopath with postgraduate training in cranial osteopathy - I use this gentle approach in conjunction with structural osteopathy to support people to understand their symptoms and feel better in their bodies.
I enjoy treating people of all ages, and have specialist training in treating babies and children, having trained for two years at the prestigious Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) in London, where I gained my postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy.
I am also passionate about maternal health and treat women through pre-conception, pregnancy and throughout postpartum. I recently trained with Rachelle Garcia Seliga to become a Certified Innate Postpartum Care provider.
My background as a contemporary dancer plays an important role in my osteopathic approach - I am a strong believer in the necessity of nutritious movement and embodiment practices. I also take a keen interest in the way emotions and the psyche are intimately connected with health and wellness.
I am a local mother of three children and happily balance mothering with my career, delighting in the ways both of these roles feed and inspire each other. I seek to pursue holistic health and wellness in all aspects of life for both me and my family.
